proprietary application is Internet based so PageGate
provides redundancy for notification in the event
that the Internet is down. Due to PageGate's logging
capabilities, messages can be retrieved and entered
into the database when access is regained.
In addition Pop-A-Lock uses the Commandline/ASCII Interface
to provide dialup dispatch to paging devices, and mobile
phones. This has proven to be more reliable than the
email delivery provided by the existing Pop-A-Lock paging
carriers. This has provided additional flexibility and
reliability so that Pop-A-Lock can be more responsive
to their customers needs.
