Sungard OSSI Features & Benefits: Sungard OSSI Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) provides an easy to use, full- featured, multi-jurisdictional system for police, sheriff, fire, rescue and EMS departments.

SunGard OSSI's CAD is lightning fast and provides the reliability your communications center can depend on 24 hours a day, seven days a week. SunGard OSSI's CAD system is a client server application featuring Microsoft's SQL Server and Windows NT. The system can be configured with a single server, with multiple servers (high availability) or utilizing completely fault tolerant technology. SunGard OSSI's CAD is seamlessly integrated with maps to provide geographic analysis and an Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) tracking module. CAD also features "drag-and-drop dispatching" with a full Graphical User Interface. Communicators may also utilize CAD's command line entry if they prefer. SunGard OSSI's CAD is designed to increase officer safety, provide instantaneous information to communicators and field personnel, increase productivity, reduce response times, and provide accurate management reporting. PageGate Features & Benefits: PageGate is a network paging gateway that sends text messages or numeric messages to alphanumeric pagers, cellular phones, PIMs or pager cards. PageGate uses interfaces to send text messages.
